Everyone laughed at me, said I was stupid for cutting off all my hair, & even saying I was “depressed” because I did that.
But now, it’s 2011. & I guess it’s a “trend” to go natural, those same ppl who said that shit are the ones asking me for advice on natural hair.
hahaha.. this is sooo true.. but i see it as a good thang.. minds are expanding, people learn that there is more then one standard of beauty amongst africans and africans in the diaspora.. So even though it was a hard struggle 12/13 years ago to walk around with a bushy afro, im happy that now a days I have to deal less with that. :) But people.. IT IS NOT A TREND…!!!!
